Council Meetings – 2026

The Annual Parish Meeting is not a Parish Council meeting.

the Local Government Act states that every parish must hold a yearly Parish Meeting and it must be held between March 1st and June 1st.

If there is a Parish Council then the Chairman (or vice-chair) must preside.  It is an opportunity for parishioners to discuss any issues relating to the parish.  As this is not a Parish Council meeting it is not conducted the same way nor governed by the rules of a Parish Council meeting.

Members of the public are allowed to make statements on relevant matters during the meeting.  Any resolutions passed are not binding on the Parish Council.
